Kitchen Remodeling in Caldwell With a Master Craftsman on the Job

4.6 from 18 Google reviews

Michael Kuhn has spent over 35 years building and remodeling. His family business designs kitchens and baths, builds custom cabinets locally, and starts every project with a free estimate.

Kitchen remodeling in Caldwell, explained before it is built

Treasure Valley Redesign & Remodel offers kitchen remodeling in Caldwell and across the valley as a small, family-owned company. Founder Michael Kuhn grew up watching his father build cabinets, framed houses with his cousin, and eventually ran his own crew. Today his daughter Becca works beside him.

Their core value is client education. Michael writes openly about why two remodel bids can look so different, how allowances change a price and why picking materials early matters.

The aim is simple: you should know what is being built, what is included and what is still open before work starts. Reviewers say they valued the team's knowledge, attention to detail and fair pricing.

What the TVRR team builds

Kitchen Remodel and Renovation

New layouts, smarter storage and quality materials that turn a dated kitchen into a place to cook and gather. One reviewer's kitchen was built hand in hand with her outside designer, so you can bring your own designer or use theirs.

Bathroom Remodels

Walk-in tile showers, freestanding tubs, new vanities and lighting for primary and hall baths. One Google reviewer has had the team remodel three bathrooms and a kitchen, and says they stand behind everything they do.

Custom Cabinetry

Locally crafted cabinets for kitchens, mudrooms, entertainment walls and office built-ins, designed and built to fit your space exactly. Michael's start in the trade came from watching his father build cabinets, and it still shows in the details.

Home and Office Additions

New bedrooms, family rooms, garages and work space that match the existing house in look and function, so you gain room without uprooting your family or business. Basement remodels and attic-bedroom conversions are also on the service list.

Decks, Patios and Covers

As a Trex Pro, Michael builds composite decks along with patios, awnings and outdoor kitchens. The team also offers disaster restoration after flood, fire or storm damage, from the first damage assessment through a full rebuild of your home or business.

Treasure Valley remodeling FAQ

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. The company says consultations and estimates are always free. The first meeting can be in person or virtual, and covers your vision, needs, budget, design ideas and must-have features. Fill in the short intake form or call, and the team will reach out to schedule it.

Why might your bid differ from another contractor's?

Michael has written about this. Two bids can both say kitchen remodel but price different scope, allowances, materials and project management. TVRR's proposals list what is included, what is not, which allowances are assumed and what is still to be selected, so you can compare fairly.

Can you work with my own designer?

Yes. One Google reviewer had her kitchen built in close partnership with her designer, Ngenius Design, and wrote that the team worked seamlessly with them and moved quickly on any concern. If you do not have a designer, the team offers design assistance as part of the project.

Do you build decks and outdoor spaces?

Yes. Michael is a Trex Pro, and decks are a company specialty. The service list also includes patios, awnings, outdoor kitchens, garage additions and storage sheds, so outdoor living can be planned along with an indoor remodel or as a project of its own.

Do you help after fire or water damage?

Yes. The company lists disaster restoration for flood, fire and storm damage, with a certified restoration team that handles everything from the damage assessment to a full rebuild. Call (208) 318-5588 and explain what happened so the team can respond quickly.
